1. All characters posted for adoption must have applications created either before or after adoption. If created/accepted before adoption, the adopter must copy and recreate the application so it's under their account. In this case, please state in "Other" that you adopted the character from X member.
2. If a character is adopted out for a plot, please follow the plot to the original poster's specifications and/or discuss changes with them.
3. All litters are first-come-first-serve. The only exception to this is for plot-related purposes, in which case you may pick however you want.
I'm sick of all this nonsense about wanting hatchlings on a roleplaying forum to be actively played. Let's face it: Your parent birds are rarely going to interact with their hatchlings, anyway, so why be picky about it? I'm very disappointed in the boldness some of you have in only letting "literate" (by the way, the definition of "literate" is to "be able to read and write", as stated on dictionary.com, so everyone on this forum is "literate") players, "active" players (you should know that some of our most active members have dropped off the face of the planet before and still have not returned, so how active someone is right now will never dictate how active they will be), or because they're new. New members become active members unless they deal with rude people and then decide they want to leave.
Keep those things in mind when picking hatchlings for your oh-so-important plots. Keep in mind the feelings of others and how shitty you'd feel if someone told you that you couldn't play a character on a roleplaying forum because you didn't meet their requirements, whether based on how well you write, your activity, how long you've been around, etc. and consider how you'd feel if this was done publicly.
4. If hatchlings are adopted and the roleplayer's account is deleted, you may not readopt the hatchlinhs unless there was a plot for them. The new roleplayer must make a new application for the character, however, and it may not be a copy of the old one. You must also post a disclaimer stating that the character/s will be readopted should the member leave so they agree to this when they adopt the character/s.
5. When all characters in the adoption thread are adopted out, please edit the title so the thread can be moved.
